You can update your TCode to the latest version of software that you have already paid for at
anytime. You can update your MVP software anytime. From time to time we make improvements
on your software and it would be good to update your TCode or MVP every 60 days or so. You
have an investment - why not keep it updated with latest software that you have already paid for?
New software for the TCode can be purchased from your AD USA distributor
and is available for download within 1-3 business days.
New software & software you have not purchased will not
be part of your TCode download update.
However, if you have recently purchased software -
follow these same instructions to update your unit.
To update your TCode or MVP is a simple and straight forward process,
but you must pay attention to the details.
The update for your unit is carried out through the use of a Windows based computer
with Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP and a correctly working Com Port and an Update Cable.

If you already have the TCode Loader or MVP Loader software on your computer, it might be a
good idea to uninstall it and download the latest version before you update your unit.
(If you have never downloaded this software before, you can skip this step)
How to Uninstall the Loader software from your computer:

1. Click the Start Menu on the lower left hand corner of your computer screen.
_______________
2. Then click on Control Panel, then click Add/Remove Programs.
_______________
3. Find the TCode or MVP Loader Icon and click Remove Completely.
_______________
Now it is safe to download the latest version of the Loader Software.
(It is a good idea to follow this procedure if you've had your Loader program more than 2 months)

A Com Port is a 9 pin port connection on the back of your computer. The Com Port is also
known as a Serial Port. The Com Port has 2 rows of pins, not 3. If you see a Port on the
back of your computer with 3 rows of pins - that is a monitor port, not a Com Port.
Using a serial to USB converter is another option but may cause communication problems.

The first step is to download the "Loader" software. Once you have downloaded the Loader
software and installed it on your computer, you will use it to perform all updating functions.
You will be prompted to open or save the software to the hard disk on your computer -
Save the software file to your computer - make a note of the location it is saved to.
Depending on which type of Windows® system you have the "File Download"
may vary is size and shape. Here's some screen examples:
